Every year, This American Life dedicates an entire show to the season between Thanksgiving and Christmas, the time of the year in which the majority of our poultry is consumed. The stories this year are what happens when the worlds of our birds and us collide. You’ll hear stories about a chicken saving a man on death row, a Spaniard’s invention of a more humane foie gras, and a wild turkey that adopted a family and became more dangerous than a guard dog!
We love This American Life, and were especially entertained this week. The podcast is about an hour long, but full of laughs and maybe even a few tears. If embedded podcast doesn’t automatically appear, click here.
